What do you like most about being part of O'Brien?
It is great to see how a team with many diverse strengths and personalities can work together to accomplish fantastic things! Similar to a great recipe, all the ingredients can stand alone, but when combined they enhance each other to provide a memorable experience.
Can you share one secret to success that has been helpful to you in your career?
Building a career requires both ambition and patience. Sometimes it is necessary to take small steps in order to develop a deep understanding and form a strong knowledge base. You need to master what you do before you're ready to take the next step.
If wealth management were an ocean, what kind of creature would you be?
In the ocean, I would be a Jellyfish. I can take many forms (both figuratively and literally!) and I’m always transparent. Some jellyfish have a 360 degree range of vision; having eyes in the back of my head would be pretty useful in my job. Some jellyfish are also immortal—they can clone themselves!
What quality of yours makes you best suited for what you do—what’s your superpower?
I know it sounds cliché but I really am a people person. My passion to pass kindness forward and my ability to quickly form a connection with those around me is something that I enjoy. O’Brien clients and co-workers often comment on how much they like it too!
You're a new addition to the crayon box, what color would you be?
Copper-green. When shiny copper is exposed to the elements, it takes on a greenish tone. Through my travels, my world view has changed with each new element that I encounter. I’m cool enough to balance the warmer colors yet vibrant enough to stand on my own. The depth and dimensions of Copper-green reflect the many different levels of who I am.
